We had another ultrasound today. He's much bigger now, about 5 lbs, which put him in the 75 percentile (whatever that means).

So, he's on the big side for his gestational age. He can gain up to 1/2 lb a week until he's born, so if I go all the way to 40 weeks, he could be about 8 1/2 lbs.

It's still a boy. :)

We also got to see his mouth moving. We're not sure if he was trying to tell us something or just maybe eating or singing his favorite tune.

The heartbeat at this appointment was 147 bpm.

The first two ultrasound pictures show his profile. The third picture is the first ultrasound picture turned sideways and cleaned up a bit to show his face more clearly. You can see his nose, lips and his little fist under his chin. And he's already got hair!
